NICOLE is my name, this is me:
So I had a week off uni, which has probably been the highlight of the year for me, and i'm sure I can speak for a majority of my youth and church, that it was a truly life changing experience. I'm just so happy and blessed that the Jesus is Lord Church Australia had the national worshipper's conference when they did, just right after my exams!!
I've been feeling OH SO exhausted and worn out, just with uni, church and a full-time job. Trying to do the best I can in all those areas... It's sooooo tiring let me tell you! But if there is one thing I have learnt from this conference, it's that in times of great difficulty and suffering, there is nothing I cannot overcome, because my God lives in me, and He has overcome and conquered this world, and because He is on my side... Nothing will ever take me down. His GLORY lives, His mercy endures and I am redeemed from the bondage that ties me to this world.
The OVERFLOW conference made Him smile, and of course, His joy is the source of our strength. I have been soooo blessed to have experienced the powerful move of the holy spirit in JIL church... I believe this movement is not a phase at all, it's the beginning of something soooo amazing and indestructable and it's safe to say, that all who witnessed this movement will agree!
Other than that, there's not anything else worth mentioning... mmm let me think.
Oh yeah, I got my eyebrows waxed the other day right at ella bache', and they totally burnt my right eye lid. Either that, or they ripped about a 3x1cm strip of skin off... Sooooo, I marched back 4 days later and cried "HOW CAN YOU DO THIS TO ME", haha not really, not that brave, more like "I was just wondering, is there anything I can do about this, or you can do for me" so they gave me back $30 in the form of a gift voucher and some free cream. That night, the sore fell off and there's no scar at all. Amazing! And I got $30! Isn't life great!
THAT WAS SOOOOO NOT WORTH MENTIONING! HAHA but if you had seen it, you would have been like "You should sue them" because about, 10 other people did say that to me. It was that bad.
